Question: Why does the formatting of Dalco's new website look weird on my screen?
Answer: Because of the new format of Dalco's website, you need to be sure your running a current version of your internet browser. Dalco recommends that you upgrade to at least
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or at least
Netscape Navigator 6.0.
Question: Why do I keep getting the warning message "This page contains both secure and unsecured items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?" when I am logged into the Online Ordering page?
Answer: Your internet browser doesn't support the latest features in SSL security and is seeing objects on our site as "unsecured" when actually all objects on our online order website are secure. There are two solutions to this problem: One is to upgrade your browser to it's most current version (
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or at least
Netscape Navigator 6.0) and the second is to use the temporary link to
log into our unsecured site. This link was put in place so people with this specific problem are able to still order online without having to upgrade their computers. The unsecured page is exactly like the secure page with the exception of the data is not encrypted between you and our server, meaning information like credit card numbers and other personal information may be available for people to "hack" into. Dalco strongly suggests you always keep your computers internet browser up-to-date with the latest version as to take advantage of new features of our website such as new technology and new security measures.
